A small peninsula extends into the largest lake and you can launch your boat or feed the fish from this spot. One of the smaller ponds is stocked with bluegill and provides a great experience to ride out and catch your supper. The lakes make the farm a year-round recreational retreat.

There are multiple food plots on the property for the wildlife. The largest opening has been used as a dove field in the past, and the owner said they have had some outstanding shoots on the field that measures about 7 acres. There are at least 11 food plot areas for wildlife, and many great stand sites in the woods for those who prefer to hunt in the timber.

One of the prettiest views is from the Grand View stand, where you have beautiful surroundings and a ~500 yard line of sight to the end of the field. Some of the fields are large like you expect to see in the Black Belt, and there are some stands where you get up close and personal with the deer as they travel through the cedars. The prairie portion of the property has the thick cedars that offer cover and hold the whitetail, and the timbered ridges and draws provide beautiful woods to watch the deer slip through.

A well-developed network of internal roads and trails leads throughout the property. Some of these roads are crowned to provide for proper drainage and years of use. The farm has extensive frontage on Wilcox County Road 51, and there are 5 gated entrances into the property. Electricity and county water are available to the land, and most have good Verizon service at the tract.

The recreational land has been well-maintained, and all of the roads are easily accessible to a side by side. There are no dwellings or structures on the land, so you do not have to pay for improvements that do not suit you. You can build exactly what you want on this property. One of the most appealing aspects of the property is that it sits in an area comprised mostly of large landowners who also manage to grow bigger deer.

The ridge rises almost 200′ above the prairie floor and offers some pretty views of the landscape. A unique food plot sits atop the highest point, and the owner says that is where they see many of the most mature bucks. The owner has not had any issues with wild hogs on the property.
